Each year we handpick fruit grown on the premium blocks of our estate vineyard for our White Chalk Shiraz. We ferment the blocks separately for up to 21 months in new and seasoned French and American oak. Continually assessed and graded, these barrels then go on parade for classification and only best barrels from the line up get the White Chalk Shiraz tick.
This 2008 vintage is our third release of the White Chalk Shiraz and saw 10 barrels make the grade and take their rightful place in our flagship Shiraz. This White Chalk has a lovely lifted perfume and displays rich, ripe dark berries and intense cocoa, liquorice and earthly flavours.
